How you start your morning can have a huge impact on your day and health.

One great healthy habit is to drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice on an empty stomach in the morning.

How To:

  • 1 Lemon (Tip: no lemon around or need a shortcut: buy pure organic lemon juice - I have found it at Whole Foods)
  • 1 large mug/cup
  • Warm water

Directions:

  1. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice of one lemon half into the mug.
  2. Add the warm water to the lemon juice—make sure you do not add boiled water as this would destroy some of the therapeutic properties of lemon.
  3. Consume on an empty stomach.
