Heike gave me my active life back, when modern medicine failed me. I went from cross-country ski training 60km per week, to injured — without falling or even knowing why my heel and ankle suddenly hurt. I limped around for months, unable to run, hike or even walk normally around the house without pain. I tried various doctors and treatments for my foot, but nothing helped. 

Heike’s knowledge of body mechanics as well as brain-body connection was especially insightful. She thought that my foot pain was coming from my back. Within 5 minutes, she correctly diagnosed and fixed my misaligned pelvis, something two doctors, a chiropractor, and an acupuncturist missed. She gave me a few simple exercises for my back that I could do myself at home, to realign my pelvis if needed. Suddenly I didn’t feel so lopsided anymore, and could feel my leg muscles re-engaging properly. Her brain-based approach also included simple but effective exercises to retrain my brain, eyes and balance to get me back to being myself in only 2 sessions. Within a week, I was able to hike 5 miles up a mountain - something that was impossible for months! 

 

I am so grateful for Heike’s skill and insight to help me through this injury and recover my active lifestyle.
